Supporting the Monastery

With five monastics in residence and visitors arriving from across India, Aranya Sangharama Monastery is steadily growing. Your support can help in three meaningful ways:
1.   Monthly operations: The monastery spends ₹ 180,000/month for requisites, maintenance and other ongoing needs.
2.  Post facto contribution to land purchase & Kalyāṇmitra Bhavan: ₹2.71 crores remains outstanding towards the purchase of the land for the monastery as well as timely completion of Kalyāṇmitra Bhavan. This is a meritorious opportunity to share in this great puñña.
3.  Monastery Development projects: The following projects are necessary to develop and maintain facilities for the day-to-day functioning of the monastery:

  • To be updated from time to time

The Trust as a policy to designate 10% of Monastery Development donations for the monastery’s monthly operations, 20% to the highly meritorious activity of  “Retrospective purchase of the land for the monastery and construction of the Kalyanamitra bhavan” and 70% for the project under the Monastery development category.

We trust that you will be willing to have your contribution used in this manner. You are also welcome to ask for your contribution to be used in specific ways – your wishes will be respected.

Your contributions will help sustain, protect, and develop this Dhamma sanctuary.
