Dedications and Offerings

Continuing the tradition established from the Buddha’s time, we undertake alms round/ Pindapatta each morning in our neighbouring villages of Rampur Gainda. The kind and generous villagers support us amply with food each day, in addition to never-ending invitations for chai.

There is also an opportunity for faithful lay people not living in the vicinity of the monastery to offer food and other requisites to the monastic community. If you are interested in offering a meal or other requisites for monks remotely, please get in touch with Rahul ( +91 89792 68717 ).

You are also welcome to convey requests for dedications and / or chanting to Rahul.

The Vinaya rules require the sangha to depend on the lay community for all physical needs. Besides food, other goods and supplies are needed for the resident community and the running of the monastery. The dana list below shows the monastery’s needs at this time:
