Following the eight-day stay at Sangharama and the first anniversary celebrations, the Most Venerable Luang Por Liem visited Chandigarh from 14–16 February, accompanied by Ajahn Sek, Ajahn Kevali, other visiting monks, and the resident Sangharama monastics. It was a deeply joyful and historic occasion for the Chandigarh Dhamma community.

On 14 February, a meal was offered at the home of a devoted Upasika, where supporters took the Three Refuges and Five Precepts and made generous offerings to the Sangha. Luang Por shared inspiring Dhamma reflections, followed by thoughtful teachings from Ajahn Kevali.

In the afternoon, the group visited Sukhna Lake, guided by knowledgeable local friends. Later, another Upasika graciously hosted the Sangha at her home, offering allowable refreshments while the monks chanted auspicious paritta blessings. The Sangha then retired to Ashok Buddha Vihar for the night.

The following day began with a ceremonial rice pindapata, followed by the meal offering and Saṅghadāna in the main shrine hall of Ashok Buddha Vihar. Luang Por delivered a Dhamma talk, and the afternoon session included guidance on chanting and walking meditation led by Ajahn Kevali. Participants practiced walking meditation together in mindful silence. The formal program concluded with a Dhamma discussion on observing the Eight Precepts, while warm and meaningful conversations continued into the evening.

On the final morning, devotees gathered at the station to respectfully see off the Sangha, offering packed meals for the journey to Delhi and onward to Thailand.

This visit marked a significant step in strengthening the Dhamma presence in Chandigarh. Plans are now underway to begin regular monthly programs, with the Aranya Sangharama Sangha returning to offer teachings and guide practice.

May the merits of this gathering support the continued flourishing of the Dhamma for the welfare and benefit of many.
