Dhamma Retreat with Ajahn Amaro at Arañña Saṅghārāma
Ajahn Amaro will be visiting Arañña Saṅghārāma and offering a weekend Dhamma Teaching Retreat on 28–29 November 2026.
Opportunities to spend time with Ajahn:
Ajahn Amaro will be visiting Arañña Saṅghārāma between 26 and 30 November 2026. The formal Dhamma Teaching Retreat will take place on 28–29 November.
Those present at the monastery during this period may also have opportunities to spend informal time with Ajahn Amaro outside the scheduled Dhamma programme.
Programme Schedule:
28 Nov (Saturday):
5:30 – 7:00 am : Morning session – chanting and guided meditation
7:00 am : Breakfast
8:00 am: Pindapata
9:30 am onwards : Refuge and Precepts, Opening comments, some suggestions
on using the quiet periods and the monastery atmosphere.
11:00 am : Meal
1:00 – 2:30 pm : Desana / Q&;A
2:45 – 3:45 pm : Quiet period with QA at the end
4:30 pm onwards: Evening session at Ancient Monastery site
29 November 2026 (Sunday):
5:30 – 7:00 am : Morning session – chanting and meditation
7:00 am : Breakfast
8:00 am: Pindapata
9:30 am onwards : Precepts and Instructions for the day.
11:00 am : Meal
1:30 – 5:00 pm : Desana / Q&A /quiet periods with breaks in between
Tea break
7:00 – 8:30 pm : Evening session – Chanting, Closing Desana
Note : the schedule may alter based on the conditions and Ajahn’s advise from time to time
