Setting the Wheel of Dhamma in Motion

The full moon day of the lunar month Sravana is when Lord Buddha gave his first discourse, Dhammacakkappavattan Sutta at the Deer Park, Saranath near Varanasi. The day is very auspicious as the wheel of Dhamma was set in motion on this day.

To celebrate this day, Aranya Vihara Trust is organising a special programme of chanting and Dhamma discussion on Saturday, July 24 from 9:30 pm to 12:00 am of the full moon night.

Open Discussion                                           11:00 pm

Metta Chanting                                              11:45 pm

Closing homage                                             11:55 pm
